RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
I have become pretty reliant on googles products to be fair, except for msn messenger pretty much every other product by yahoo/ms i could use, i go for the google alternative.
It will be interesting to see how things develop though, i'm sure they could create some pretty tough competition to googles range.

RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
Yeah, I use Google documents for example for documents, and for searches most of the time. I do like Windows Live Mail more than GMail though.

RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
My school had the ingenious idea of building computers without optical drives to save cost, and then somehow preventing you from being able to add attachments to e-mails in hotmail. This was before virtually everyone had a portable usb pendrive too, but gmail worked so i kind of switched over then, i still do check my hotmail accounts but g-mail is my every day preference.

RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
Yahoo needs to take some action. They're trailing behind their rivals.

RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
I wouldn't mind seeing some competition for Google. I think they're getting too big for there britches anyway.

RE: Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo
I agree, especially that they now are apparently putting "AdSence" on Yahoo Search, which is giving them like 90% of the Seach Engine Market.
