I'm guessing the gadgets are still there but are just losing their bar, judging from what we already know about gadgets in Windows 7.

I vote for the former, as I think a lot of people just want to use older hardware, so it's important that it runs faster, and also, getting rid of unnecessary code will make it even more reliable.]]>

I think this just proves that Macs aren't any safer than Windows... Probably the same for Windows.
