Windows 7 Screen Resolution Problems

For some reason i cannot get higher screen resolution than 1048x768, the graphics display drivers are installed correctly and i've reinstalled them too. It shows that i have a "mobile PC display". I clicked "Detect", it shows my display adapter but i cannot make that my default screen setting, there for its limiting my resolution.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Sounds like another driver issue that windows 7 is not compatible for. Make sure that the driver you are installing is the most up to date.
