My windows 7 64bit PC which I have recently built says that there is 4gb of RAM on my system (which there is) but only 3.5gb of which is usable. I have an 880GMA-UD2H giga-byte motherboard. When I enter the BIOS I can't seem to see a memory remap option, although maybe I've just missed it...
Running x64 retail on a custom build:
Core 2 Duo @ 3.0 ghz
2 gigs crucial ballistix
GeForce 9800 GTX+ (512 MB)
MSI P43 Neo motherboard
Not the issue people are thinking. I have 2 gigs of Ram installed and under system properties is shows Installed Ram 3.0 GB (2.0 usable), DXDIAG shows 3 gigs...
When I check System Properties, it says Installed memory (RAM): 4GB (2.75GB usable). When I check Task Manager, it also shows me 2814MB Total physical memory. I am using Windows 7 RTM x86. How can I get all of my installed RAM working? I googled a bit, found out something about memory remaping...
