Uninstall and Reinstall the Device: - In Device Manager, right-click on the gm-4200 optical mouse and select "Uninstall device." - Once uninstalled, disconnect the mouse, restart your computer, and then reconnect the mouse. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver. 3. Check for Windows Updates: - Make sure your Windows system is up-to-date by checking for any pending updates. - Install any available updates and restart your computer. 4. Try a Different USB Port: - Plug the gm-4200 optical mouse into a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes, the issue may be with the USB port itself. 5. Scan for Hardware Changes: - In Device Manager, click on "Action" in the menu and then select "Scan for hardware changes." - This action may prompt Windows to recognize and reinitialize the gm-4200 optical mouse. 6. Use System Restore: - If the issue started recently, you can try using System Restore to revert your system to a point where the mouse was working correctly. Please try these steps one by one and see if any of them resolves the problem with your gm-4200 optical mouse. If the issue persists, there may be a hardware problem with the mouse itself.
