Hello all,

I have Chrome set as the default browser on my desktop and laptop, but neither one will use Chrome when using the Weather widget or selecting Weather from the left side of the taskbar. Does anyone know how to change the browser being used for this?
An image from 'Default browser setting.'. A computer taskbar shows clear weather with a temperature of 47°F and the moon icon.

To change the default browser for the Weather widget in Windows 10, you would typically need to adjust the default app settings for the web browser. Here's how you can do this: 1. Set Chrome as Default Browser: - Open Chrome on your PC. - Click on the three dots at the top right to open the menu. - Go to Settings. - Scroll down and under the "Default browser" section, click on "Make default" or "Set as default" to set Chrome as your default browser. 2. Adjust Default App Settings: - Go to Settings by pressing Windows key + I. - Click on Apps. - In the left sidebar, click on Default apps. - Scroll down to find the "Web browser" section. - Click on the current...

By setting Chrome as the default browser in both Chrome settings and Windows default app settings, you should ensure that Weather widget and other functionalities on Windows use Chrome for web-related tasks. If you encounter any issues or the Weather widget continues to use a different browser, you might need to check the specific browser settings within Windows or the Weather widget settings if there are any customization options available.
