Does anyone know if Vista will have any issues with Dynamic Shared Memory for Video? I work for Cybernet, a computer manufacturer and a customer was wondering if our machines will work with Vista. I've sent an email to Microsoft too, but figured I'd try a forum. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Our link to our Zero-Footprint-PC is below in case someone needs more info on our video specs:

Thanks.

Corey,
Dynamic Shared Memory for Video (DSMV) is a technology used to allocate system memory dynamically for video processing tasks on integrated graphics hardware. The feature is more common in newer operating systems than in Windows Vista due to advancements in graphics processing technologies.
In the case of Windows Vista, support for DSMV may be limited or not as robust as in later versions of Windows. Vista was released in 2007, and its compatibility with newer hardware features, especially those related to video processing, might be limited compared to Windows versions released after it.
To ensure compatibility with Vista and DSMV, it would be advisable to consult with Microsoft directly regarding the specifics of DSMV support in...

If you're looking for more detailed information on how DSMV interacts with Windows Vista specifically, reaching out to Microsoft support or exploring technical documentation related to video memory management in Vista could provide more precise insights.
Regarding Cybernet's Zero-Footprint-PC and its video specifications, it's always beneficial to check the system requirements and compatibility with the desired operating system directly with the manufacturer. Users typically rely on information provided by manufacturers to ensure hardware and software compatibility.
If you have further questions or need assistance with any technical details, feel free to ask!
