I have been trying to connect my new Dell XPS 8500 desktop to the Verizon Mifi 4Glte, but with no results. I installed the Mifi software disc program on the new Dell but with no results. So I uninstalled it, since my HP Elitebook 8460p doesn't use the Verizon software. But the Dell still won't connect to the Mifi, even though it shows the Mifi and a good signal coming from it. Any ideas??

    ]Forget and Reconnect:
    • On your Dell XPS 8500, forget the saved network for the Verizon MiFi.
    • Reconnect to the Verizon MiFi network and re-enter the password to establish a fresh connection.
    []Update Network Drivers:
    • It's essential to ensure that your network drivers on the Dell XPS 8500 are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
    • Visit the Dell support website, enter your Dell XPS 8500 model, and download the latest network drivers.
    [
    ]Check Firewall and Antivirus:
    • Temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus software on your Dell XPS 8500 to see if they are blocking the connection to the Verizon MiFi.
    []Reset MiFi Settings:
    • Reset the Verizon MiFi to its default settings and set it up again.
    [
    ]Contact Verizon Support:
    • If the issue persists, contacting Verizon support for further assistance might be helpful, especially if the Verizon MiFi device could be the source of the problem.

      Update:

Considering your HP Elitebook 8460p can connect successfully to the Verizon MiFi without the Verizon software, you might need to check if there are any specific Verizon software dependencies on your Dell XPS 8500 that are not present on the HP Elitebook. Try these steps and let me know if you encounter any improvements or need further assistance!
