I know the fix to delete the .BAK in the registry but the temp profile doesn't have it. Started around 3 months ago. I attached event viewer errors. Stumped. Solution Neemobeer Nov 10, 2020 This is common with some AV locking the NTUSER.dat file. Which AV is in use? You should see this pop up in the system event log.
