Just installed Windows 11, but can't figure out how to turn on tablet mode. Can't find where notification tiles that put the device in tablet mode, change the screen brightness etc. are located either

Solution
In Windows 11, Tablet mode is no longer the same as it was in Windows 10. The dedicated Tablet mode button isn't available, but the system automatically toggles between tablet and desktop modes based on the device's configuration. Here's how you can work with Tablet mode on Windows 11:
  1. Tablet Experience: Windows 11 dynamically switches between tablet and desktop modes, depending on whether you detach or fold the keyboard on a 2-in-1 device. When you're using a touch screen or disconnect the keyboard, Windows 11 should switch to a more touch-friendly interface.

  3. Desktop Taskbar: In Tablet mode, the desktop taskbar will auto-hide to give you more space to work with touch-optimized applications.
  4. Tablet Apps: Modern UWP apps will take precedence in tablet mode, providing a better touch experience.
  5. On-Screen Keyboard: When needed, the on-screen keyboard should automatically pop up when tapping on input fields. If you want to make any adjustments or enable or disable certain features in tablet mode, you can explore the touch settings in Windows 11:
    • Go to Settings by clicking on the Start button and selecting the gear icon.
    • Navigate to System and then Tablet.
    • Here you will find options related to Tablet mode, like automatically switching tablet mode on and off, assigning functions to the pen button, and adjusting other touch-related settings.
While Windows 11 aims to provide a seamless experience across different form factors, you may not find a direct Tablet mode switch as you did in Windows 10. The system should automatically adapt to your device's configuration and usage, optimizing the experience based on touch inputs and device orientation.
