Solution
As long as your problem is concerned I suggest diagnosing the problem with the help of System File Checker, Windows Memory Diagnostic and System Restore. You just follow the steps given below and check if the problem still persists. Link Removed if the problem still persists.

Defragment Hard Disk:

1. Click Start, point to All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter.

2. Select all disk drives for defragmentation.

3. Click Defragment Drives button.

4. The process may take a few hours depending upon the actual fragmentation.

Disable Antivirus and Security Program:

1. Right click the Taskbar icon of your Antivirus software.

2. Select Realtime Protection | Off.
The Orange Box

Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: World at War
Crysis(i think it only works on 64-bit)

Some games working here not sure what other yet

left for dead.

I'm going to check out the punk buster work around to get COD4 working.

I'm also going to install Farcry 2 to see how it all works. I had an OK experience with Vista Server 2008 but not impressed.

So far my left4dead is running notibaly faster than vista did. I did have an issue with the videos drivers, and found out I had two nvidia drivers installed. I unintalled the nvidia driver downloaded myself and just left the Built in Driver on Win7. everything works great.

Love this OS.
