I am one of the few who Hates W7! Probably it is great for technie people but for little old lady's sitting at home using computer for fun, it is horrible. My home page is My.MSN which one can customize with the news modules, local weather, etc. I have to reset everything at least twice a day.

W7 is also very, very slow. Just to get on this forum took me 25 minutes. Kept getting the same welcome page everytime I tried to get to the discussions. Kept going back to the login page. I am not sure who I should discuss my problems with, because I can't find anything at microsoft.support that even addresses these problems. Has anyone else had problems like these? I would appreciate some help. Or I guess I could just go back and reinstall XP.

System Maintenance: - Perform a disk cleanup to remove temporary files and free up disk space. - Run a disk defragmentation to optimize the file system. 3. Windows Updates: - Ensure that Windows 7 is up to date with the latest updates. This can sometimes resolve performance issues and bugs. 4. Antivirus Scan: - Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to check for any malware or security threats that could be affecting your system's performance. 5. Check Hardware: - Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 7. Older hardware might struggle to run Windows 7 smoothly. 6. Consider Upgrading: - Given the age of Windows 7 and the potential compatibility issues with newer software and websites, you might consider upgrading to a newer version of Windows. 7. Contact Support: - If you're still facing issues, you can seek support from Microsoft. They have a dedicated support section where you can submit your concerns. Regarding your suggestion to reinstall Windows XP, it's essential to note that Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means it doesn't receive security updates. This makes it vulnerable to security threats. Upgrading to a more recent version of Windows would be a more secure option. If you need more specific guidance or assistance with any of the steps mentioned above, feel free to ask for further help!
