Hello Community,

My Friend has an Open Wifi in his Hostpital and asked me to scan the Network. I used years Linux but now I have an Lenovo with Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 wireless adapter ( not working on Linux). I don't have an external wireless card because i'm now in the Jungle and the Capital is more then 800km far away. I installed WinPcap, Wireshark, Nmap, Essential NetTools etc. I get only the Default Gateway, my Laptop and Zombie Host's. Whats wrong ? I never had this Problem, Who can help me.

An image from 'Nmap, Wireshark etc capture only my Laptop'. Windows Command Prompt displays IP configuration details for wired and wireless adapters.

If you're connected wired, you won't see anything but broadcast traffic since switches separate collision domains but not broadcast domains. If you are wireless and the AP is set in AP isolation mode, you should still be able to see wireless chatter in wireshark, but nmap scans will probably fail because AP isolation makes devices invisible to each other.
