Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2 - Customisation

Hi Everyone,

I have just set up remote access for Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2 and i want to change the image below.

I have found the path, i have found the location, however when i try to overwrite the file already there i am not able to even with all the permissions on the folder correct. Does anyone know if there is a way to change this as i keep getting the error "you do not have permissions to edit this file"

You would need to take ownership of the file first, then assign yourself permissions. I would export the current permissions first so you can restore them later.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change this

have you Activated the server with Microsoft?
the rules for the "evaluation copy" are different and I don't want to assume

Cheers mate, I appreciate it, changed the owner to administrators then changed the administrators permissions and worked like a charm.
